Marcus Linnepe, new managing director of Berndes Cookware, is bringing production back to Germany. His predecessor had relocated the pot-and-pan production to China. But Linnepe believes the "Made in Germany" seal of quality could increase sales enough to make the move worthwhile. Even in China, he can sell a German-made set of pots for twice as much in China.
