How to cook catfish

For most of my youth I had a love-hate relationship with the catfish.

Ingredients

Self-rising flour 3 cups

2 cups of beer, whichever you prefer

1 clove garlic, finely chopped

1 teaspoon black pepper

6 catfish fillets

Cooking Oil

Directions

1. Combine 1 1 / 2Cups flour, beer, garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl.

2 packages shredded Mexican or Cheddar cheese

Juice of 2 lemons

Directions

1. Mix all ingredients (except fillets) in a saucepan to make a marinade.
